Cheney Like Bush Protested Everywhere He Goes

Sierra Club, labor and assorted other people gathered
across the street from Milwaukee's Pfister hotel to
protest Dick Cheney's $1000 a plate lunch and expensive
photo ops. They held signs, shouted into bullhorns and
some even left the "freespeech zone" to walk a block down
and hold their signs along Cheney's actual motorcade line.

Cheney gets protested everywhere he goes.
Today there was a bullhorn with Bush monologues on a playlist.
It was quite funny when the horn had Bush on the record with
such words as Nuke U Lar, and Subliminable.
There were many signs with "Dick jokes" and assorted other
witty statements. Some chanting went on, but for the most
part there was mingling, standing and the usual "progressive"
handshaking.
When I left there were about 50 people there, and many had already
left. Many were still trickling in a few at a time, so you got the
sense (it's 12:30 in the afternoon currently) that many are showing
up on their lunch break.
Weather is yucky, and spirits are somewhere between moderate and high.
Overall you could say that rich Milwaukee loves a fascist right wing
religious nutcake like Richard Cheney, while the middle class and
working poor just think he sucks.
Just about everyone else probably couldn't care less at this point.
For the non corporate media,
I'm marco
