Picturing Open Source Voting

marco, 27.06.2004 11:32

Here are two snapshots of what open source voting
looks like. With the mouse and the menus you might
think there's little difference between that and
say Windows XP or CE. But there really is. And open
source solves issues additional to the papertrail.

This issue of open source balloting is going to be very
important in the 2004 elections.

It SHOULD'VE been an issue in both 2000 and 2002.

But alas we now have blackbox, thanks to Diebold and
ChoicePoint. Yes, the same people who carved all the
african-americans off the rolls of the Florida balloting
in 2000.
