The nationwide news network C-span has broken the blackout on the 9/11 truth movement, raising hopes that other media outlets will follow, by deciding to broadcast a lecture by David Ray Griffin in Madison Monday night. An acclaimed philosopher-theologian and author of the 9/11 truth blockbusters The New Pearl Harbor and The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions and Distortions, Dr. Griffin will be making a rare public appearance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Monday night, April 18th. at 7:30 p.m. in 272 Bascom Hall. His brand-new talk, entitled "9/11 and the American Empire: How Should Religious People Respond?" will focus on the ethical and spiritual dimension of facing the overwhelming evidence that the Bush Administration was complicit in the attacks of September 11th, 2001. If the UN were truly the populist organization it claims to be, it would be strenuously challenging the slave labor conditions in China and much of the Third World; and if Congress were really working for the people instead of our corporate would-be masters, they would not even be considering handing national sovereignty over to a world monopoy government; nor would they be considering the immanent passage of Codex Alimentarius, the world government legislation that would outlaw most herbs, supplements, and other natural remedies except, if permitted at all, by prescription at inflated prices (and which is wildly unpopular in the European countries where it has been enacted into law). It was excellent to see C-Span there with multiple cameras. I do not think there will be any audio or video problems as the cameras had clear shots and the room used was selected because of an excellent sound system. Griffin did not present any new info not in his books or other writings, but the most important thing is that he will get airtime. I think the most important to remember in our push for the truth is that we demand that our questions be answered, and not simply assert that what we know is the truth. I think our views will be received much more widely if we simply ask for answers to questions like "why did the secret service not act?" and "why did the anti-aircraft missiles at the Pentagon not fire?" rather than just claiming the inaction "proves" the 9/11 Report to be false. The answers provided thus far have proven false and we must continue to ask until legitimate, credible answers are given. We walk a lonely road. Few want to believe that their own government would enable attacks like this to happen to the country.
