Emil Minty and the Lost Girls and Boys strike again!

Today, the mysterious gang of banner dropping hooligans known only as 'Emil Minty and the Lost Girls and Boys' once again has struck in Milwaukee, this time an Indymedia photographer caught them in the act. The gang dropped three banners in response to a call to action for solidarity with those caught up in the Green Scare.

Emil was heard to remark, “We stand with the earth and with all the warriors who fight to end its exploitation. Right now brave men and women are behind bars for their work to ensure that we have a healthy planet. We on the outside have a responsibility to do everything in our power thank them and continue their fight.”

Two banners were dropped over Lincoln Drive during the morning rush hour. One read “Support the SHAC 7” making reference to seven animal rights activists sent to jail for running a website exposing Huntington Life Science as a cruel and inhumane corporation that profits off of animal torture. The second simply read “Resist.” Both gave the web address “ http://www.greenscare.org” so that people could learn more.

A third banner was drooped over the side of a bridge in the campus of the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. This banner read “Burn All Prisons” and bore the same website address. The location and was chosen to inject a bit of militant politics into the normally oblivious lives of modern college youth.

Emil asked that this report included these final words from Utah Phillips, “Our world is not dying, it's being killed and those doing it have names and addresses.”
