While I generally agree that "demokkkracy" is a western tool of oppression and seen as the end all be all in the world when many of the other systems in the world are actually much more DEMOCRATIC, I have been involved in this race. You may ask why??? is this race any different? Actually it is.

Suraforchange is the real deal. She has been there for the community for years and years fighting for us. It is finally time we fight for her.

please show your support, come out and volunteer, do some massages for our hard working staff, give Sura some vegan baked goods to keep up the mind and body!

"Sura is one of us. She is an activist, writer, organizer, entrepreneur; a woman in a man’s world, a former business owner and a current strategist. She was born the daughter of an immigrant father and an American mother. She has worn many hats, and working with different kinds of people comes naturally to her. Sura lives in a neighborhood rich in political, class and cultural diversity. Sura has friends of all classes, ages and educational backgrounds. She has bridged personal, community and political divides.

Bridging these divides has brought her to believe that we can discuss, brainstorm and problem-solve together without needing to force agreement. She says, “People can almost always find common ground and hold a vision together, even when they disagree on an issue. When neighborhoods work collaboratively for the good of everyone, we get the best results.”

Sura has no idea what she would do if she ever got into the office.

She has NO experience and wants to tear down grocery stores so she can sell more of her drugs to pay for nervehouse.

Nik, Sam and/or Pat are the only ones that even made sense at the Gordon Park debate.

Sura has been aweful for riverwest and would be aweful for the rest of the third.

BTW, SHE DOESN'T EVEN LIVE IN THE DISTRICT!
